Espolòn Tequila came to us asking for a memorable activation for the release of their newest batch, the first ever made with marigold extract. They planned to release Flor De Oro during one of the most important days in the mexican community: Dia De Los Muertos.


Partnering with event and floral designer RAÚL ÀVILA, we constructed a massive living ofrenda that used more than 100,000 marigolds. Those who were at grand central station were surprised with the immersive event, got to sample the newest tequila, and learn about the sacred holiday. Before leaving, each person was encouraged to write notes to lost loved ones and post them on a marigold wall, and to take one of the flowers on their way back home.
